What Will Die With You?

In an interview last week, among other topics, the host and I discussed my passion of assisting individuals in crafting and broadcasting their message. I alleged that some people claim to be shy or introverted, use that as an excuse to not step out and follow their passion. I think it is ego-centered not to spread the word about the uniqueness that they have to share… their God-given talents and gifts.

“This is not about YOU ~ There are people out there whose life will change if only you stopped making excuses to do what God has called you to do and to be what God has called you to be. ‘Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.’  Speak your story, write the book, coach the people, teach the course…” ~Elayna

My interview inspired me to share an amazing reflection by Les Brown, which reads:

“Imagine if you will being on your death bed – And standing around your bed – the ghosts of the ideas, the dreams, the abilities, the talents given to you by life.

And that you for whatever reason, you never acted on those ideas, you never pursued that dream, you never used those talents, we never saw your leadership, you never used your voice, you never wrote that book.

And there they are standing around your bed looking at you with large angry eyes saying we came to you, and only you could have given us life! Now we must die with you forever.

The question is – if you die today what ideas, what dreams, what abilities, what talents, what gifts, would die with you? “ ~ Les Brown

What will die with you? Don’t let anything DIE with you. Live each day with passion and focused to fulfill your mission. You’ve been fully equipped to do so!
