A Lioness And Queen

Every Saturday afternoon, we go to the library for a family movie. We never know what’s playing and love being surprised with the feature. Yesterday, it was The Lion King, one of my all-time favorites.
The Positive MOM logoThe Positive Mom logo was inspired by Rafiki holding Simba in the anointing ceremony. Everyone rejoices with pride and joy for the potential king!

Bringing a child to the world is such a privilege, a huge responsibility and a gigantic miracle.

“RAISING” children should be synonym of uplifting them and helping them live to their potential as sons and daughters of a King.

The purple in the logo “is indicative of comforts, devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, compassion, mystery, creativity and moodiness, passionate, nobility and spirituality. It is also the color of royalty, high rank, dignity, power and wisdom.” The green symbolizes growth, development and sustainability. (Of course, these happen to be my favorite colors, too!)
Enhancing the quality of our parenting and our influence as role models to all children, empowers them to be good and do good:

“You have forgotten who you are and so forgotten me. Look inside yourself Simba, you are more than what you have become, you must take your place in the circle of life. Remember who you are…”

And that is what positive parenting is all about, really: uplifting our children and letting them know they are lions and kings, lionesses and queens. Teaching them to look inside themselves so they can remember what they are capable of and embrace exactly who they are, while working on who they can become.

Through positive whole parenting, our legacy can live within our children and passed on for generations. I am a lioness and a queen because I learned from the best. Isn’t it inspiring to know you can make such a massive difference?
