100 Top Latina Digital Influencers In USA [ #Latism15 ]

Whoa, my lovies! I am honored, humbled, and excited to share a bit about the journey I’m embarking on tomorrow.

I’ve been selected as a Top Latina Digital Influencer by Latism.org, among an incredible group of inspiring Latinas and Latinos who use their voice, efforts, and platforms to inspire and create change in areas, issues, and causes they care about for the Latino community in the United States.

Along with the Top Latina Influencer recognition, on October 28, we will experience a full-day of advocacy training and lobbying in The United States Capitol, Washington, D.C. for the causes I deeply care about. We’ll also learn how to engage your audience on important social issues, be a media spokesperson, and lobby for the community.

You know how passionate I am about Mom Entrepreneur Support, Mindset Education, and Parenting Empowered Kids, and I know that when we become advocates, utilizing our voice and the resources that we have at our disposal to make a difference, change is truly possible. This prestigious nomination is an opportunity to amplify my efforts and my voice, so my cup is overfilling.

The organizing and recognizing entity, Latinos in Tech Innovation and Social Media (LATISM), is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing the social, civic and economic status of the Latino community through technology innovation and social media, considered the most powerful and influential network of Latinos/as involved in social media and technology.

The retreat has been organized and sponsored by Phone2Action, and HCN Media will be conducting media training with the influencers. This promises to be quite an enriching and empowering experience for me, and I am truly grateful for this privilege!

So tomorrow I am headed to the 7th Annual Latinos in Technology Innovation and Social Media (LATISM) conference. The theme this year is “Igniting Latinos to Drive the Innovation Economy,” which fits LATISM’s mission to empower the Latino community in the areas of Education, Health, Technology and Business through the use of tech innovation and social media.

LATISM members, tech innovators, White House dignitaries, corporate leaders, thought leaders and opinion makers, grassroots advocates, policymakers and policy experts, and investors, communications and marketing experts, corporate executives, and successful entrepreneurs will gather to showcase the contributions of the Latino community to technology, innovation, and economic growth. It’s surreal to be in such great company, and I’m looking forward to learning from each of them.

Plus, I’ll be meeting and meeting up with some of my favorite Latina bloggers in cyberspace. Which reminds me…

I’ve also been nominated as an agent of change, for Best Latina Lifestyle blogger in the Best of the Best LATISM Awards! I know many of you voted for me and I just feel so loved and supported by you! I’ll keep you posted with updates about what ends up happening at the Awards Gala, which is sponsored by Toyota, and with the honor of being pre-selected as a finalist, plus your love and support, I am already a winner!

I feel like Steve Jobs was talking about me when he said:
