I first learned about Guerrilla Marketing when I was attending college in the Dominican Republic since the book, Guerrilla Marketing, was a required read for the MBA program.
In 1984, marketer and author Jay Conrad Levinson coined the term “Guerrilla Marketing” in his book by the same name, in which he introduced the concept of “achieving conventional goals, such as PROFITS and JOY, with unconventional methods, such as investing time and energy instead of money.”
