Free Group Guitar Lessons and Free Guitar or Ukelele!

As you may know by now, I have a musical family. Elisha and Elyssa both play the piano and the guitar, and Eliana actually knows how to play and compose songs! Oh and did I mention they all sing? 

I feel like the odd one in my family because I love music and I nurtured my daughters love for music, but I don’t have singing talent and I just recently started learning about music because it was all a foreign language to me.

Music & Arts is offering a free Lesson Open house on June 22-24 and I decided we’re not going to miss it. My whole family is going to preview a guitar lesson in the Music & Arts Hurst store here in DFW. But there are Music & Arts has over 175 locations across the country, so you can join the fun wherever you are and meet with a Music & Arts instructor to discuss your child’s goals and background and get familiar with their lesson program. We are so excited!

You can also join their open nic night on Friday the 22nd. Music & Arts is converting their stores into a cabaret setting for local musicians to perform and showcase their talents.

I’m excited to share this with you because when you sign up for lessons, you can choose either a free guitar or ukulele! Weekly lessons are only $30 and you don’t need a contract, just 2 weeks notice. I learned all this from a wonderful instructor I talked to on the phone to reserve our spots.

During our Open House experience, we’re going to spend an hour learning the basics on how to play the guitar and get a feel for the lessons. I support my children playing music because playing an instrument has amazing benefits and advantages of music for children, and because it is a joy for the whole family.
