I love visiting SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium with my family. and get transported into the amazing underwater world! SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium is right on my backyard since I live in Fort Worth, but people from outside the Dallas Metroplex come to enjoy the fun and educational experience.

I’m excited to announce that SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium is opening an exciting new permanent exhibit called Sea Turtle Rescue Center Saturday, May 5, and I’m doing a ticket giveaway to celebrate!

We love sea turtles and as a homeschool mom I’m excited to attend exclusive media preview on Friday, May 4, so I’ll update this post with pictures and thoughts about the experience.

I was excited to learn that the Grapevine aquarium is the first SEA LIFE in the U.S. to be permitted to rehabilitate sick and injured sea turtles and release them back into the wild through partnerships with Animal Rehabilitation Keep (ARK), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and other Texas coast sea turtle hospitals. That is amazing!

Starting May 5, guests of all ages will be able to visit the Sea Turtle Rescue Center (fingers crossed you get those free tickets) and learn about the threats turtles face in
the wild, and experience first-hand the process of successfully rescuing, rehabilitating
, and releasing sea turtles. You will enjoy:

• Turtle Talk & Feeding
• View aquarists care for injured turtle in new Rehabilitation Hospital 
• Become a bonafide turtle rescuer and experience first-hand the process of successfully rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing sea turtles.
• View two new non-releasable sea turtles and watch aquarists through a glass window work with an injured sea turtle in the aquarium’s new hospital that will be rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
